यात्रा वृत्तांत : जर्मनी की अद्भुत अट्टा होले (Atta Höhle) गुफाओं की अविस्मरणीय यात्रा "आज हमारे मित्र श्री अमीर नियाज़ी एवं श्रीमती नजमा हमें नीदरलैंड के एम्स्टर्डम से लगभग 350 किलोमीटर दूर जर्मनी के अटेंडॉर्न (Attendorn) नगर स्थित विश्वप्रसिद्ध अट्टा होले (Atta Höhle) की प्राकृतिक गुफाओं का अद्भुत सौंदर्य दिखाने ले गए। यह गुफा जर्मनी के नॉर्थ राइन-वेस्टफेलिया प्रदेश में स्थित है और अपनी करोड़ों वर्ष पुरानी प्राकृतिक चूना-पत्थर की संरचनाओं के लिए विश्वभर में प्रसिद्ध है।"बीच-बीच में विश्राम करते हुए लगभग पाँच घंटे की यात्रा के बाद हम वहाँ पहुँचे। आश्चर्य की बात यह रही कि नीदरलैंड से जर्मनी की सीमा में हम कब प्रवेश कर गए, इसका कोई विशेष आभास ही नहीं हुआ। यूरोप के खुले सीमावर्ती देशों की यह सहजता वास्तव में अद्भुत है। हम लगभग दोपहर 3:30 बजे गुफा परिसर पहुँचे। यह उस दिन आने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए अंतिम दर्शक समूह था। हमारे साथ लगभग 25 पर्यटक थे। गाइड जर्मन भाषा में जानकारी दे रहे थे। सौभाग्य से हमारे समूह में मरीना (Marina) नाम की एक महिला थीं, जो अंग्रेज़...

During my visit to the Netherlands, I had the honour of visiting the  the Church of Scientology Amsterdam along with Mrs. Krishna Kanta Rai, representing the Gandhi Global Family. डेवेंटर का सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव : कला, युवा ऊर्जा और बारिश के बीच अविस्मरणीय संध्या राम मोहन राय आज हमारा पुनः डेवेंटर जाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य वहाँ चल रहे विशाल सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव को निकट से देखना, समझना और उसकी आत्मा को अनुभव करना था। यह महोत्सव केवल मनोरंजन का माध्यम नहीं, बल्कि कला, संस्कृति, लोकजीवन और युवा रचनात्मकता का जीवंत उत्सव है। हम लगभग शाम छह बजे डेवेंटर पहुँचे। उस समय पूरा ऐतिहासिक नगर उत्सव के रंगों में सराबोर हो चुका था। गलियों, चौकों और नदी के किनारों पर कलाकारों की चहल-पहल थी। वातावरण में संगीत की धुनें, तालियों की गूँज और दर्शकों का उत्साह एक अद्भुत सांस्कृतिक ऊर्जा का निर्माण कर रहे थे। डेवेंटर का प्रसिद्ध Deventer op Stelten उत्सव पूरे शहर को एक खुले रंगमंच में बदल देता है। ऐतिहासिक इमारतों के बीच कहीं नुक्कड़ नाटक प्रस्तुत किए जा रहे थे, कहीं ऊँचे स्टिल्ट (लकड़ी के लंबे पायों) पर कलाकार अद्भुत संतुलन का प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे। अनेक स्थानों पर नृत्य, लोक संगीत, आधुनिक संगीत, एकल अभिनय, हास्य प्रस्तुतियाँ, कठपुतली प्रदर्शन, बच्चों के कार्यक्रम तथा व...

नीदरलैंड की आत्मा की खोज : डेवेंटर में एक दिन — राम मोहन राय किसी भी देश को केवल उसकी राजधानी या उसके महानगरों को देखकर नहीं समझा जा सकता। महानगर उस देश का चेहरा अवश्य होते हैं, किंतु उसकी आत्मा छोटे नगरों, कस्बों और गाँवों में बसती है। नीदरलैंड के संदर्भ में भी यही सत्य है। एम्स्टर्डम, रॉटरडैम और हेग जैसे नगर अपनी आधुनिकता, भव्यता और विश्वव्यापी पहचान के कारण लाखों पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करते हैं, परंतु यदि इस देश की सांस्कृतिक चेतना, ऐतिहासिक गरिमा और मानवीय संवेदनशीलता को निकट से महसूस करना हो तो उसके छोटे-छोटे नगरों की यात्रा अनिवार्य है। नीदरलैंड की यह हमारी चौथी यात्रा है। मैं और मेरी धर्मपत्नी कृष्णा इस बार पहले से ही यह संकल्प लेकर आए थे कि इस यात्रा का उद्देश्य केवल पर्यटन नहीं होगा। हम उन स्थानों को खोजेंगे जहाँ इतिहास बोलता है, संस्कृति साँस लेती है, साहित्य मुस्कुराता है और प्रकृति मनुष्य के साथ सामंजस्य स्थापित करती दिखाई देती है। इसी खोज ने हमें लगभग 120 किलोमीटर दूर बसे ऐतिहासिक नगर डेवेंटर पहुँचा दिया। अलमेरे से ज़्वोले और वहाँ से डेवेंटर तक की रेल यात्रा अपने आप...
