आज विश्व में राजनीतिक अस्थिरता और विदेशी हस्तक्षेप की घटनाएं बढ़ती जा रही हैं। मैं न तो खुमैनी का समर्थक हूं और न ही किसी भी प्रकार की मजहबी कट्टर शासन व्यवस्था का। हम तो उस समय भी ईरान के रजा पहलवी के निरंकुश शासन का विरोध कर रहे थे, जब वह राजशाही के नाम पर लोगों के जनतांत्रिक अधिकारों का दमन कर रहे थे। लेकिन हम इस बात के जरूर समर्थक हैं कि प्रत्येक देश के नागरिकों को अपने लिए शासन व्यवस्था चुनने का अधिकार है, न कि कोई अन्य देश उनके भविष्य को तय करे।
हमने अफगानिस्तान, लीबिया, सूडान और इराक का हश्र देखा है कि किस प्रकार वहां की सत्ता को लोगों को एक अच्छी लोकतांत्रिक, धर्मनिरपेक्ष व्यवस्था देने के नाम पर ठगा गया। आज वहां घोर निरंकुश धार्मांध व्यवस्था कायम हो गई है। आज सवाल किसी हिंदू-मुस्लिम या शिया-सुन्नी का नहीं होकर जनता के अपने शासन का है। क्या हमारी किस्मत का फैसला कोई सैन्य दृष्टि से संपन्न ताकतें करेंगी या हम खुद करेंगे? सवाल हमारी संप्रभुता का है।
इसलिए हम सद्दाम, लीबिया के शासक गद्दाफी और खुमैनी की हत्या का विरोध करते हैं और वेनेजुएला के राष्ट्रपति की अनैतिक तथा गैर-कानूनी तरीके से गिरफ्तारी का भी। याद रहे, यह उसी कड़ी का हिस्सा है जिसके तहत भारत की इंदिरा, पाकिस्तान के भुट्टो, बांग्लादेश के शेख मुजीब और श्रीलंका की बंदरनाइके शहीद हुईं। अगर चुप रहोगे तो आग हमारी दहलीज पर भी आने वाली है। यह वह आग है जिसे 200 साल पहले हमें सभ्य बनाने का बहाना बनाकर लेकर आया गया था और जिसके खिलाफ हमने लंबी लड़ाई लड़ी तथा स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त की।
हम इसलिए चुप रहें कि जालिम ताकतवर है, यह ठीक नहीं। हमें हर जुल्म के खिलाफ जरूर बोलना होगा। विदेशी ताकतों द्वारा लोकतंत्र के नाम पर की जाने वाली ये साजिशें न केवल राष्ट्रों की संप्रभुता को चुनौती देती हैं, बल्कि मानवाधिकारों का भी उल्लंघन करती हैं। समय आ गया है कि हम एकजुट होकर ऐसी ताकतों का मुकाबला करें और अपनी किस्मत खुद तय करें। लोकतंत्र की रक्षा में चुप्पी नहीं, बल्कि आवाज की जरूरत है।

Voice Against Foreign Interference: Defending Democracy and Sovereignty
In today's world, incidents of political instability and foreign interference are on the rise. I am neither a supporter of Khomeini nor of any form of religious fundamentalist regime. Even back then, we opposed the despotic rule of Iran's Shah Reza Pahlavi, when he suppressed people's democratic rights in the name of monarchy. But we firmly believe that every nation's citizens have the right to choose their own system of governance—no other country should decide their future for them.
We have witnessed the fate of Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, and Iraq: in the name of delivering a good democratic, secular system to the people, they were deceived, and today those countries are gripped by extremely oppressive, fanatical regimes. The question today is not about Hindu-Muslim or Shia-Sunni divides—it is about the people's right to their own governance. Will our destiny be decided by militarily powerful forces, or will we decide it ourselves? This is a question of our sovereignty.
That is why we oppose the killings of Saddam, Libya's leader Gaddafi, and Khomeini, as well as the immoral and unlawful arrest of Venezuela's president. Remember, this is part of the same chain that claimed the lives of India's Indira, Pakistan's Bhutto, Bangladesh's Sheikh Mujib, and Sri Lanka's Bandaranaike. If we remain silent, the fire will soon reach our own doorstep. This is the same fire that arrived 200 years ago under the pretext of "civilizing" us, against which we fought a long battle and won our independence.
It is wrong to stay silent just because the oppressor is powerful. We must speak out against every injustice. These conspiracies carried out by foreign powers in the name of democracy not only challenge the sovereignty of nations but also violate human rights. The time has come for us to unite and confront such forces, to determine our own destiny. In defending democracy, what is needed is not silence, but a strong voice.
